The city is still reeling from ICE raids, but a bar in Albany Park and a Muslim community center in Englewood are offering hopeful, community-led, art-based spaces for safety, community, and exploration. > It meant creating a third space and having things that folks may not have access to otherwise, like art-making, drawing, painting, conversations about current events. I often dream about creating a space like this here in Iowa. Then I remember I'm autistic and being around people can be hard : ) But I applaud any creators that can make IRL places like this to prove art is resistance!
